BROOKLYN, NEW YORK – There is clearly a definite problem going on in the world when it comes to how we treat each other these days. Bullying has become a norm and there is a loss for empathy and consideration of ones needs.
Today, we live in an environment that is filled with anger, hostility and various forms of “bullying”. Whether it is “cyber-bully”, physical abuse, or verbal, it exist in our current society at an all-time high. It is the cause of most youth suicide and now murders. It is important that we teach confidence in conjunction with tolerance. Tools that will allow youth to articulate stand up to bullies as well as improve skills in literacy. By combining the two in learning, we hope to accomplish addressing improving a multitude of social issues that are the result of childhood bullying.
